Our Materials in detail »

PDF printable textbooks »

All members can download our printable textbooks.  The textbooks are organized by level and theme and focus on task-based activities containing speaking, reading and writing exercises as well as vocabulary and grammar sections.

PDF lesson

Each levels’ textbook is set up as follows:

  • Units: each unit is theme-based and contains 4 lessons.
  • Lessons: each lesson is based around a theme and can be taught over 1 to 2 classes, depending on the length of your class time.  Each lesson contains a number of sections.
  • Sections: each section is indicated by a letter (A, B, C, D, etc.).  Each section focuses on a particular task (such as a reading, speaking or writing task) as well as vocabulary and grammar sections.  The last section of each lesson contains homework tasks.

In the example above you can see that each unit is made up of 4 lessons and each lesson is made up of 1-page sections.

The printable textbooks can be used as your classroom stand-alone materials or in conjunction with our Powerpoint lesson slides.

PowerPoint textbook slides »

All members can download our PowerPoint textbook slides.  As with the PDF textbooks, the slides are organized by level and theme and focus on task-based activities containing speaking, reading and writing exercises as well as vocabulary and grammar sections.

PowerPoint lesson slides

  • Slides: each slide is indicated by a number (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.).  Each slide focuses on a particular task (such as a reading, speaking or writing task) as well as vocabulary and grammar sections.  The last slide of each lesson contains homework tasks.

Supplementary materials »

Premium members can download, print and give to students as handouts our PDF supplementary materials.  The supplementary materials are designed to enhance the lesson materials (either the PDF or PowerPoint textbooks)  and can be used to practice specific points of the lesson.

Each lesson comes with supplementary materials and includes instructions on where they can be used within lesson.

The supplementary materials contain the following types of handouts:
